Here’s How to Make Your Business Memorable

I have a friend who owns a spa. She offers several different services and every time she talks about her business; she talks about something different. I always get confused because I can’t remember exactly what she offers. There’re just too many services.

You’ve probably seen this too.

I’m sure you’ve seen businesses that offer so many products or services that it’s confusing.

And then you start to think “are they actually good at all of those things?”

You may offer several services or products in your business, but it’s important to pick one product or service and lead with that.

For example, Geico has lots of insurance products but they only promote car insurance. You’ve seen the ads a million times about how they can save you money on car insurance. They are really well known for that and people understand what they do.

Once consumers call about auto insurance, they will offer them additional products, but they lead with one thing.

You should do the same.

It doesn’t mean you can’t offer other products or services, but you need to be known for one thing so that people can remember it. If you overwhelm them with options, they will get confused.

Keep your messaging simple. Focus on one thing and own it!
