I don’t know about you, but if I hear the words “these uncertain times” one more time I’m going to scream!!!!! It’s time to move on.
And that means your marketing message needs to shift. Over the last few months, we’ve all been using phrases like “we’re in uncertain times,” “we’re all in this together” and “let’s support each other” but now we need to start shifting our messaging again.
As we move into the recovery phase of this pandemic, we need to be sensitive to our customer’s changing needs and tell them how we can help them. AND WE NEED TO BE SPECIFIC. Don’t tell them you can help them – tell them EXACTLY how you can help.
For example, if your customers have been hit financially you can talk about how you are now offering payment plans. If your customers are facing a particular problem or challenge, talk about how your product or service can help them at this time.
Whatever it is, we need to start talking to people about how you can serve them as we move out of the pandemic and ease back into normalcy. Not only will it bring you new customers, but it will strengthen your relationship with your current client base as they move forward in their business.
