How Much Time Should You Spend on Marketing?

How much time do you spend on your marketing?
Last year a survey by Vertical Response found that 43% of small business owners spend an average of 6 hours a week on their social media.
That’s 24 hours a month on just social media!!
That doesn’t include email marketing, website updates, creating video, etc.
That’s WAYYYYY too much time.
Most small business owners start their business because they have a passion for something or are really good at something, or both. That means that if you’re spending 6 hours a week on your social media, then that’s six hours you aren’t doing what you’re really good and that’s what makes you money.
If you’re spending more than a few hours a week on your marketing, then it’s time to look for help.
